Shakespeare in the Park – Midsummer Night’s Dream
Sunday, July 1st
Concert Park
7pm – 8:30pm
Join Playa Vista Community Services (PVCS) and Loyola Marymount University’s Theatre Arts Department, College of Communication and Fine Arts as they present Shakespeare in the Park: A Midsummer Night’s Dream with special guest artist Lynn Favin as Titania. Grab some gourmet food truck eats from 6 to 9pm.

Yoga for a Cause
Saturdays – July 7th, 14th, 21st & 28th
Concert Park
9am – 10am
Find your zen and feel energized with Mind Body & Soul Yoga while supporting a worthy cause. During yoga, make a monetary donation in support of Wounded Warrior Support Network. All proceeds benefit various programs to support active-duty and wounded veterans and their family members through the journey back to happy and productive lives. Don’t forget to bring your yoga mat and water!

Movie in the Park – Coco
Friday, July 13th

Despite his family’s generations-old ban on music, young Miguel dreams of becoming an accomplished musician like his idol Ernesto de la Cruz. Desperate to prove his talent, Miguel finds himself in the stunning and colorful Land of the Dead. After meeting a charming trickster named Héctor, the two new friends embark on an extraordinary journey to unlock the real story behind Miguel’s family history.

Enjoy a variety of gourmet food truck eats from 6 to 9pm. Featuring Richeeze Melts , Recess Ice Cream Truck, Wicked Fish Tacos, Tender Grill, and Yalla. Don’t forget to enjoy some treats from our friends at PopChips!

Ballona Discovery Nature Camp
Monday, July 16th to Friday, July 20th
Ballona Discovery Park
9am – 3pm
A science-based day camp focusing on nature in our urban environment. The camp encourages children (ages 8 to 11) to explore Ballona by engaging them in fun and educational activities from identifying plants and animals to engaging in environmental stewardship projects and more. Concert in the Park – Steely Jam

Campus Central Park Bandshell
5pm – 6:30pm
Steely Dan’s top hits freshly presented by a brilliant group of LA and Playa Vista musicians committed to making it sound and feel like Fagen and Becker intended. Grab some gourmet food truck eats from 4 to 7pm.

Campus Concert
Thursday, July 26th
Central Park Bandshell
12pm – 1:30pm
If you work in The Campus, this is an event you don’t want to miss! Co-sponsored by the Villas at Playa Vista, this event invites you to bring your beach chair and enjoy an ice cream sundae while listening to R&B, pop and soul soloist Roderick Chambers! Sundaes available while supplies last. Don’t forget to bring your employee ID badge.

The Pointe

Did you know that Playa Vista has a weekly Wednesday night run club? It’s the perfect time (and weather) to get started! Walkers, joggers and runners are all welcome!
